At Mentalwell, our primary goal is to provide clarity and the most appropriate support for your well-being journey. If your comprehensive assessment indicates that you do not meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, you will still receive a detailed and transparent explanation of our findings from your expert psychiatrist. If you initially acquired a package that included both an assessment and a subsequent treatment plan, and the assessment results in a negative diagnosis for ADHD, the portion of your payment allocated for the treatment plan will be fully refunded to you.

Our team of highly qualified psychiatrists are fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is extensively experienced and specifically trained in conducting thorough, accurate, and empathetic remote evaluations. This ensures you receive the gold standard of care — with the added convenience, comfort, and flexibility of an online service.

Providing information from an informant is not mandatory for private adult ADHD assessments, but we strongly recommend including one wherever possible.An informant can provide valuable collateral information about your symptoms, behaviours and experiences from another perspective. This can be particularly helpful when exploring how symptoms presented during childhood and how they affect you in different areas of your life.While your own account remains central to the assessment, having input from someone who knows you well can help make the assessment more comprehensive and robust, giving the clinician additional information to consider alongside your clinical interview and completed questionnaires.If you are unable to provide an informant, this does not prevent you from proceeding with a private assessment.
