Zero Tolerance Policy

At Mentalwell, we are committed to treating every patient with kindness, dignity and respect. We ask that everyone using our service extend the same courtesy to our clinicians and support teams.

We recognise that seeking an ADHD or autism assessment can be stressful, and we understand that people may sometimes feel frustrated or upset. Our staff will always do their best to listen, explain and help resolve concerns.

However, we operate a Zero Tolerance Policy towards behaviour that is abusive, threatening, intimidating or discriminatory. This includes abusive language, harassment, threats, or repeated aggressive behaviour by telephone, email, online messaging or during consultations.

Where this occurs, we may end the interaction, restrict communication, or, where appropriate, withdraw our service in line with our clinical and contractual obligations. Serious incidents may also be reported to the police or other appropriate authorities.
