Our Process
Our ADHD Assessment Journey

Schedule an Appointment
Book your consultation at your own convenience using our online booking page, simply choose an available slot and that's it! A confirmation email will be on its way to you indicating the completion of the booking.
Please note, we require your consent to communicate with your GP. Our service does not cater to psychiatric emergencies or individuals experiencing suicidal ideations.

Pre-Appointment Preparation
Before your appointment, you will receive an email with detailed information about what to expect, along with access to our portal. In the portal, you will be asked to fill out several questionnaires about your experience and medical history. This process typically takes up to an hour to complete.
Please complete and submit these forms before your appointment so our clinicians can familiarise themselves with your needs and goals and provide the best service for you.

Appointment Day
In the email received immediately after booking your assessment, you will find a secure Zoom link to join the meeting at the time of your appointment. One of our GMC registered clinicians will welcome you and guide you through the process ensuring a simple and confidential assessment.
Please have a photo ID ready for identity verification. The appointment must occur within the United Kingdom.

Post-Appointment Follow-Up
After your appointment, you can expect the following:
-
Diagnostic Outcome: You will receive an email with your outcome letter, including your diagnosis, within 7 working days.
-
Treatment: If you choose to pursue a medicated pathway, you will be referred to our titration team and be able to book an initial appointment to discuss your personalised treatment plan with one of our clinicians (when applicable). Once prescribed, our pharmacy partners will send out your first prescription.

Medication Titration Process
This service provides patient support, ensuring medication is safely initiated at a low dose then gradually increased to find the optimal effectiveness with minimal side effects.
In each session, you and your clinician will discuss your experiences with the medication. Topics will include improvements in your symptoms, any side effects, the dosage, and timing of the medication, as well as your overall well-being. This process usually takes 8-12 weeks, giving your body time to adjust to the new medication and ensure the optimal dose is found.

Ongoing Care
Once your medication has reached a stable and effective level, we continue to support you through ongoing monitoring and repeat prescribing. Through regular titration surveys, our clinical team will monitor your treatment, including any changes in symptoms or side effects, ensuring your medication remains appropriate and safe. If needed, we’ll arrange a follow-up appointment to discuss your current dose and overall effectiveness, with the aim of finding the best balance between reducing ADHD symptoms and minimising side effects.

Completion of Treatment
When your treatment plan comes to an end, you can renew your plan with us to continue receiving ongoing support and monitoring from our expert clinical team.
Alternatively, you may ask for a Shared Care request for no extra fee to transfer your care to your NHS GP practice, who would then take over prescribing and routine monitoring.
